Yesterday morning Josephine came to ask whether wana go shopping for office wear at night and I immediately say YES. hahaha 

So went with her, Kimmy and Ying Xuan to DFS and FEP. Happy to know we can get staff discount on almost all items at DFS including cosmetics and handbags. Very tempted to buy a Swarovski earrings for Mother's Day but in the end din buy cos I promised my sis to share to give mum a SPA package.

We shopped at FEP for almost one and a half hour and I managed to buy 4 tops. 2 from Reds 2 and 1 from Honey & Bees and the last one from a duno what shop. Spend $150 buying the tops so I treat it as the GST offset government credited to our account yesterday is for me to buy clothing. But poor Josephine she not yet 21 yrs old so not entitled for the GST offset BUT she spend the most yesterday. Around $200+.

Morning went market with Dar for breakfast then bought some vege for dinner.

Download songs the whole afternoon and prepare dinner around 4pm.

Now my 2 darlings sleeping in my room ( i turn on the air con cos weather damn hot ).

Yesterday went to check my Singtel contract ends date so I can renew contract to buy my Viewty but too bad my contract can only be renewed in Jul08. If now renew, I have to top up $100 more. So dropped the idea of buying. sianz...

Today took cab to Plaza Singapura then with Dar and my 2 darlings. Brought pram along so not so tiring.

Really cannot go shop for clothings with Dar. Not used to see him wait outside for me carrying one baby and pushing the pram so did not manage to buy anything.

Although Dar gave me no limit in buying my office wear, I really can't decide what to buy. I always like to go shopping for clothings with my sister or friends as they can give me advice on what is nice and what's not.

On the way back, a lot of people wave and smile at ELia. I guess they think she's cute bah... hehe 

I admit I am very  pissed off just now for a minor mistake done by StarHub. 

I remembered paying the bill on 9 April ( which is confirmed by checking

my internet banking ) but received a letter saying there's incorrect deduction

hence we have to pay by 28 April 2008.

Got so angry seeing the letter so I immediately call up StarHub customer

service and confront them. The guy told me from their system the bill is

cleared but the letter is to inform us that the GIRO from credit card is

rejected due to incomplete data provided.

I told him " YOU MEAN you guys dun check customer outstanding before

sending this letter telling us to pay the amount ? "

He said " Oh... maybe the letter is send out concurrently with your 

payment so we did not captured the payment. "

I practically shouted at him ( Dar got a shock to see me so professionally 

fierce ) " WHAT ? The letter is dated 23 April and my payment is 9 April. 

Isn't this very ridiculous to tell me it's done CONCURRENTLY? "

He said in a apologic voice " I am sorry... it's just the credit card info is

incomplete but there's no outstanding in your account "

I added " You guys better be more diligence in checking before sending

any letter to customer. If I never keep record, I will be paying you double

already "

After hanging up the phone, I think back and felt that I am so harsh to the

fellow just now. He is just a staff and the letter is computer generated one

lor. hehehe Anyway count himself suay to receive my call.

By the way, visited DFS Galleria Scottswalk this morning and was just

impressed by the Platinum Service Club we provide to customer who spend

>$5000 per day. We got a super relaxing and cosy lounge for these kind of

potential VIP with all kinds of liquor for them to consume while our

personal shopper will shop in behalf of them if they dun wan to shop with 

"normal" ppl.

Personal shopper as in bringing hangbags, shoes into the lounge for you to

try and buy. Somemore they even provide Limo to send customer back to

hotel before and after they shop. I know I will never get the chance to be

the member ( at least not in this life ) .. haiz.....

IF i am single and worked in DFS, I will definately "walk pass" the lounge

to "bump" into any rich man going in or coming out of the lounge. just

daydreaming.

23 May is our company's bowling tournament. Ying Xuan jio-ed me, Amy and Kimmy to join. Our little princess Josephine will go there cheer because she scared her nice nice fingernails break. Been very long since I lasted played bowling. I think is before I am pregnant with Charlotte. I think I have lost touch liao.

Today we ordered pizza for lunch. During lunch, we were chatting about guys and sex thingie. We were all so "open" in these things. One new word I learnt from our dear Amy. LV means lost virgin. hahaha

Blur sotong is Joel. I thought I saw my email the orientation dates changed to Wednesday and Friday but turned out only the tour dates changed. The briefing of our benefits is still on Tuesday. So I have to attend the next round orientation briefing.

Today went to tour our DFS warehouse at Kallang. Drooling all the way cos I saw carton and carton of Burberry, Hermes, Ferragamo clothing and bags and Christian Dior, Clinique, Lancome etc cosmetics, and bestest of all all kinds of liquor and tobacco within my reach lor. BUT too bad there's no door gift or souvenir during the tour. How can human work there when there are so many temptation? hahaha

2 of my colleagues told me ELia looks very cute in my previous blog. They got no comment about Charlotte. hehehe I thought so too.

Amy came up to me today inviting me to join them for BBQ at her condo in May and Dar's company got kukup trip in June. Seems like a lot of outings for me soon. Yeah!~

Went East Coast Tung Lok Rstnt during lunch yesterday. Department welfare lunch which I heard from my colleague is a few times a year. They even chartered a coach to send us there.

Had a sumptuous meal and everyone making fun of Amy with the waiter cos he serve us faster than other table. Maybe because Amy wore low low cut. hehehe

Kimmy kept on taking photos of the food served for her blog but we disturbed her by snatching the food away. Very happy as the lunch last for 1 and a half hour and by the time we reach office is 230pm already. :p

Our supervisors told us boss want us "youngester" to organise the next time for chalet and bbq. So looking forward to it.

This coming Tuesday is Earth day and we are told to wear green to work. Cannot do printing / photocopy in the morning and have to imprint a footprint on a piece of recycle paper to put up at the breakout area. Seems very fun hor... 

And Wednesday and Thursday is my orientation day at DFS. They are bringing new recruits to DFS Scottwalk. When I told my boss, she said " Good ah.. can go gai gai " hahaha but I hate the ice breaking time in the agenda. Gotta intorduce myself again. haiz... very shy leh...

Watched Channel U Korean drama last epi last night. It was a happy ending. The moral of the drama is to be contented with what you have and never be jealous over people happiness or fortune.

I am contented with what I have now. Be it my children, husband, family, work or friends. I will treasure them like gems. 

Even if I am not born rich or did not married a rich fellow, I am happy with what I am.

I am contented with those people I met at school and workplace. They are the nicest beings on earth and I am very lucky to know them. Although there are a handful whom I have lost touch with, but I will remember them anyhow.

Life is great.... ( sounds like Great Eastern Life insurance commercial ) hehehe

My company HR send out an email today regarding dresscode. It says since DFS is selling branded goods, so staff have to protray a LUXURY image to people. No denim, no cardigan, no short skirts etc.

Even flat shoes are not allowed. Got to have at least a bit of heels. 

I saved the email for Dar to see so I can have valid reason to start my "office attire" shopping.

People after reading the email are all cracking their head in what to buy/wear starting from 1st May but only I am sooo happy cos I can go shopping liao.

My cupcake sucks. hahaha Will try one more time next week.

Went Chinatown with parents to buy cheap shampoo, foundation, baby wipes, anti mosquito lotion, hair dye, bathing lotion, panty linear etc. Only went out for 3 hours and I spend $200 already.

Went Bugis straight after work to meet Dar & Charlotte for dinner just now. Super sleepy...

Bought a brunch of bananas during lunch for tomorrow cupcake making. Looking forward to tomorrow. Hope I can bake nice & tasty cupcakes. My virgin bake. hehehe

Ying Xuan asked me to bring some to office on Monday but I told her if not nice, I will not bring lor... very throw face one. But if nice, sure share it with the gals. : )

Dar really cannot have "extra" money with him. He "secretly" bought a XBox 360 for $700+ today. haiz.... when will my hubby grow up ? PS2 not enough for him. Now still wana play XBox. Really feel like BOXING him.

Went to meet up with Jessica and Jeramin for a fast dinner at Kovan just now. Jeramin need to fetch her son by 830pm so we ate barely for 45mins then she send us home liao. Arranging to go somewhere further next Tuesday. Maybe Waraku at Clarke QUay.

Dar went Prudential to let his financial planner to arrange an insurance premium for himself and our babies. This is something I wanted to do long time ago but did not have the chance / time to do.

Went temple with mum and Charlotte just now to pray for Charlotte's hand recovery. Dun know when will her hand heals. My mum said today it bleeds again. Sadz...

Tomorrow night meeting Jessica and Jeramin for dinner. I think they meet up twice a month. Suddenly they become so good friends. hehehe

Heard a few of my colleagues saying today office very quiet. I wanted to tell them it's because the person next to my manager is not around today. Cos usually the whole office is his voice scolding people. hahaha ( Those reading my blog and working in DFS should know who this person is ) :p 

Went MIL house today, bringing only Charlotte along. Dar gave her some money to use then on the way to Kovan, he told me from this month onwards, he will give me $500 to spend. I am so happy. Even now I am working, he still sub cards to me and give me money. hehehe

Planning to try baking cupcakes next weekend. So bought the ingredients from Cold Storage just now. Got to do / learn something on weekends now. Dun wana waste time staying at home doing nothing.

Pimp my DBS internet banking device and my thumbdrive yesterday. Sis said very shiny and nice ( from far ) but once u observe nearer, u will see how messy my pimp is. haha really not talented in ARTS & CRAFT lor... that's y i venture in Bakery now. :p

It's Friday finally!! Gotta stay at home cos it's the last episode of the Ch8 show. This show made me remember donkey years ago when I was only 3-4 years old, we were staying at Bendemeer 1 room rented flat. I still vaguely remember the corridor was always very dark and we know ALL the neighbours cos they dun close their doors.

Our house, kitchen super pathetic small and only one bathroom. Our nanny stayed our next next door and the nanny's husband always sits outside the house ( outside cooler bah ). 

An auntie ah-bu-ne-ne bring my bro and sis to school everyday and she carried me along too when my mum go to work for free. All our neighbours were helpful ( according to my mum ). 

But now, our neighbours always closes their doors and I can hardly recognise any. hahaha That's what " educated & rich " people behaves now bah.... no more 人情味 pathetic...

Finished my closing for March08. Quite easy task actually. Made me worried for so long. hehehe

Last time in ExxonMobil, we post GL directly into SAP and supervisor review our work thru SAP inbox. But in DFS, we input our sales into AS400 ( aka Cardpac ) then supervisorssss post into SAP. So balancing and accrual all done by supervisors.

Jo's birthday yesterday and I bought her 2 bottles of gummies bear sweet as she loves candies ( she planning to open a candy shop in few years time ). She got no time to take her lunch on her birthday cos she gotta rush for closing. Poor gal.. anyway she got all our pressies and cakes so I think she's a happy gal afterall.

Was telling Jo what I saw yesterday and she also said she cannot stand people kissing in public too. Saw an early 20s couple on bus kissing and touching each other like nobody business. Really wet kiss lor... i am just sitting behind them and IF i am with my friends, I will tell them to get a room ( Ah lian's behaviour ). Too bad I am alone so I scare the guy beat me up. ( By the way, the bus was super crowded lor )

Dar bought Charlotte out yesterday and today. Yesterday they went Plaza Singapura and Dar bought a pair of Cerisi shoes $20+ and a kid sunglasses $9 for Charlotte. Today Dar planned to bring her for swimming but when they reached the swimming pool, it started to rain so they went shopping again. Now Charlotte became Dar's LOVER. hahaha
